Lotus Academy
Early Learning Center

The Lotus Academy was founded in 1974, and has been built upon a foundation of academic excellence, character development, and cultural affirmation for more than four decades.

It is comprised of the Early Learning Center for its pre-kindergarten and kindergarten children, the Lower School for its first through fourth graders, and the Upper School for its fifth through eighth-grade students

The Lotus Academy Early Learning Center is a private, state-licensed daycare program, and is authorized to accept subsidy aid including CCIS.

The social and educational foundation that our children receive at the Early Learning Center is designed to fully prepare them to excel at the Lower School of the Lotus Academy as a result of our emphasis on both social and academic growth.

In an effort to maintain high standards of excellence for early childhood education, the Early Learning Center has embarked on the attainment of the highest possible rating for quality child care as a Keystone Stars facility, and most recently through Success By Six.

These two local programs provide training to early childhood educators to ensure effective teaching and learning. They both offer parent and community resources and allocation of educational resources for developmentally appropriate learning environments.
